How do i find an owl?

I wouldn't wear to dark of clothing if you're going out to look for an owl, you may scare your neighbors! My grandpa use to sit outside and literally hoo back to the owls and they'd hoo right back; if you don't feel to silly doing that you might be able to figure out the basics of where they are. Just keep your eyes peeled :)
