Beneath the front lip of my body kit there is some rubber material on the bottom what could this be?

It's on the front bottom part of the lip..my bro and I think it is to protect the body kit from actually scratching on the bottom is that what it is? It's a NISMO factory body kit. Also, 6 inches back from that there is a small piece that hangs down and we think it is some splash guard for underneath the car, could that be what it is?
